Workshop Policy
Any member in good standing can sign up for a workshop. The member must remain in good standing until completion of the workshop or forfeit their spot. The workshop fee will not be returned unless there is someone on the waiting list to take his/her place. A check for the workshop fee will be paid to the Fort Worth Weavers Guild and the treasurer will reimburse the member who was unable to attend the workshop.
Full refunds will be made as long as there is someone to take the person's place on the waiting list. The workshop chairman will be responsible for the waiting list and must be contacted as soon as someone knows they will be unable to attend. If there is no waiting list or no one on the waiting list who wants the spot, the money will be forfeited so the guild will not be left with the debt. Positions are not transferable. Openings will be filled from the waiting list of members, managed by the workshop chairperson. Non-members may sign up 3 months after the workshop has been announced to members.
