Sturdy Countermarch floor loom is constructed from light-colored wood. This Cranbrook model by J.P. Bexell & Son has 8 shafts, is 48” wide, and has 10 wooden treadles. The unit includes three metal reeds, a cloth beam with canvas apron, and an overhead beater.

It has been converted to Texsolv from metal chains for the tie-up system (lightening the lift) and has large wooden handwheels on the sides for tension adjustment.

Also includes a hanging shelf above the beater bar and a wooden rack hung with metal brackets for reed and long stick storage that attaches in two different places in the rear of the loom
